Aún sin quererlo y sin saberlo, y muy a nuestro pesar, nuestros padres, abuelos y antepasados nos han dejado en herencia duelos no resueltos, traumas no superados y todo tipo de secretos. Sin embargo, lo que se oculta a veces se expresa en el cuerpo a través de la somatización. El cuerpo del hijo, del nieto o incluso del bisnieto, sin importar su edad, se convierte entonces en el lenguaje del ancestro herido. Es por lo tanto necesario —para liberarse al fin de esa carga— descodificar y curar las heridas que no se cerraron.

Unwillingly and unknowingly, and much to our regret, our parents, grandparents, and ancestors have bequeathed us unresolved grief, unhealed traumas, and all sorts of secrets. However, what is hidden sometimes finds expression in the body through somatization. The body of the child, grandchild, or even great-grandchild, regardless of their age, then becomes the language of the wounded ancestor. Therefore, it is necessary—to finally free oneself from that burden—to decode and heal the wounds that never closed.
