Pastoral Care offers a wide range for the stories of life and takes itself part in God's life story. The essays of this volume develop different approaches at the interface of theology and pastoral care. They put into question the different modes of experience as self-awareness or religious experience and - in entering resonance as a keyword - search for their significance in practiced pastoral care and poimenic reflection. Theological aspects as well as poimenic ones contribute to this purpose, more so conceptual and practical reports of pastoral care as well as articles dealing with the teaching and learning of pastoral care. The volume is dedicated to Wolfgang Drechsel on the occasion of his retirement and collects contributions from authors in poimenic theory and practitioners in the field of pastoral care.
