El día de restauración, es una novela histórica corta sobre Jimmy Yen y su ministerio en China a principios del siglo XX. Jimmy Yen fue un joven evangélico chino que respondió no sólo con la transmisión del mensaje de Jesús sino viviéndolo en un esfuerzo colosal por educar a su pueblo y mejorar su economía agrícola. Todo esto en un mundo en el que China estaba desgarrada por una terrible guerra civil y las fuerzas del imperio japonés la atacaban varios años después del suceso de Pearl Harbor.
