Helping My Child: A Guide to Supporting Reading provides information about the Science of Reading and the components of the reading process in a friendly way. Parents and caregivers will learn how to get support when their child is struggling. "The Words to Know" section translates the common terms and abbreviations heard from educators so parents and caregivers understand the language of reading education and can feel included in their child's education. Parents and caregivers are given information and activities on Word Attack Skills, Fluency, Vocabulary, Comprehension, Writing, and Study Skills.
